My friend Gretchen gave us a handmade perfect swaddling blanket.
I have to say that her description is just right. It is a great blanket. The right shape for getting a baby swaddled, very soft, not too warm.
The best part is that it is big enough to keep swaddling even my big ol' babe. Moxen, at not quite 2 months, can still easily be swaddled in that blanket when almost every other blanket we have is too small to fit around him and reach back to the front to tuck it in, which is essential for keeping him swaddled.
